My Second-Shooting Debut

I had my first try at the game of "wedding photographer" this past weekend, and let me tell you, it was a killer. I've seriously never been so exhausted. My mother keeps reminding me I'm pregnant, but you'd think I'd attempted to run a marathon with no training. Just the same, eight plus hours second shooting by the side of Kim Heiligman produced these images. There are a ton, but I had a hard time narrowing them down and I figured, it's my first time shooting an entire wedding so why not. The wedding and the couple were beautiful, as was the mansion we spent the day in. And the piece of chocolate cake I snuck at the end was divine, really.
I'm not sure if I'm cut out for the wedding industry, and I'm no Davina Fear, but I can dream.

Cocktails and raw seafood hour! Needless to say I didn't participate.

You did a great job as second shooter. If you hadn't told me I would have thought you were the main photographer. Love the one with the bride and her parents-excellent character shot.

Elizabeth,
You really did a wonderful job, I cried when I saw these pictures. They are beautiful! You were very professional during the wedding, I had no idea that it was the first wedding you shot. You are obviously very talented, and you have a bright future in the business. Thanks so much for everything. Good luck in all your future endeavors, Ally and Bryan (bride and groom)
