Snow Day

I often find spoons under the kids' pillows as I make their beds each day at work. Someone, somewhere told them it will bring a snow day. Sunday night, it worked. Monday morning brought a few inches of the best packing snow ever. We had a great time sledding, building a snowman, and of course, having a snowball fight.

High Tide Swim

These birds caught my eye on the way to pick up the kids yesterday. They seemed oblivious to the winter temperatures now setting in, yet they remain the only white we're seeing here.
