Audabon, Whitney & Church
My husband and I ended up with a ton of free time over the Christmas holiday, so we headed downtown with our cameras for fun. It was sunny, but we had to quit when our fingers and toes were numb.

Little Boy with a Pink Bow
While I was home for Christmas I tried to take my little sister Olivia to the little girls room. Mistake. "I'm a boy!" she told me. Apparently, my little brother James told her this one day and it's stuck. When my mom asked her what she wanted for Christmas she enthusiastically replied, "A Gun!"
She still wears pink bows in her hair and is already fashion conscious, so we're hoping her curly golden locks won't go to waste. I changed my name when I was her age. I'm sure her wanting to be a boy is healthy. And I remember loving to play in the dirt just as much as she did in these pictures. But I don't think I ever worked on tractors...
We'll blame Deweyville. It was nice to be home.
